Blake Stephenson, the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, has written to Anglian Water about their poor response to water outages in Aspley Heath recently.
He said:
"People in Aspley Heath were left without water for several days in May, but when I raised it with Anglian Water they failed to provide assurance that lessons have been learned.
"I’ve now written back to demand answers on their emergency preparedness, website and call centre resilience, and how they communicate with residents and MPs when major incidents happen.
"The lack of communication during this outage was unacceptable. Residents deserve better, and I’ll keep pressing Anglian Water for answers and action."
