I was pleased to meet Milton Keynes Central MP Emily Darlington and ward councillor Tracey Bailey at The Whisk Kitchen & Bar in Woburn Sands recently to discuss cross-boundary issues, including flooding.
With county, constituency and local authority boundary lines drawn through the middle of Woburn Sands it has led to a number of issues, but I'm pleased we are able to work cross-party to try and resolve those issues.
The recent flooding in September was devastating for many Woburn Sands residents and we have now written a joint letter to Anglian Water to get clarity around the drainage network in the area.
We're also hoping to be able to bring the two local authorities together to find a way forward.
We will keep you updated on any progress.
