To help his work to support the hospitality sector Mid Bedfordshire MP Blake Stephenson has been elected as a vice-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pubs.
The APPG aims to promote and campaign for the interests of pubs, landlords and the communities around these pubs both in Westminster and beyond.
Labour MP Charlotte Nichols has been elected as the chair, while fellow Conservative MP Richard Holden and Liberal Democrat MP Ben Maguire join Blake as vice-chairs.
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, are the APPG's secretariat.
Blake Stephenson MP said: "Pubs are so often at the heart of local communities and we need to be doing more to help them not just survive in the current difficult climate, but thrive.
"That's why I'm really looking forward to working cross-party as part of this APPG to support our locals."
